On behalf of a Massachusetts-based project Owner, TPD Construction took the lead in working with the City of Gardiner to figure out a way to make the lot that had been selected for a new wholesale lubricant facility useable. The Libby Hill Business Park lot had been considered non-useable, and it had become a dumping ground for the rest of the development.

Once construction was started, TPD worked at the site to deal with differentials in grades that ran to a depth of 30 feet and recompacted the soil prior to any building construction.

TPD also initiated a cost-saving measure for the owner by reusing boulders on the lot, which were crushed for gravel. This reuse of site materials meant that no gravel had to be purchased and moved to the lot, saving the owner a substantial amount of money.

This project involved constructing more than 19,500 square feet of gross floor area, including a 2,200-square-foot containment area and 2,200 square feet of office space.
